Students in grades 6th-8th grade can earn brag tags after reading any of the SSYRA Grades 6-8 books. They will be given a 10 question comprehension quiz to earn these brag tags. There are brag tags for every SSYRA book and incentives to read 5, 10 , or all 15 books on the list! Students should visit to The Reading Retreat before school or during the day to get their brag tags and rewards.
About the Program: The Sunshine State Young Readers Award (SSYRA) Program is an OPTIONAL statewide reading program.
The purpose of the SSYRA Program is for students to read books for pleasure that are on, above, and/or below their reading level.
