Welcome to Sasquatch Summer Camp – a place where curiosity leads the way, friendships flourish, and every day feels like a new adventure!
Designed for Kindergarten through 5th grade students, our camp blends hands‑on learning, themed activities, creative exploration, and plenty of active play to keep campers engaged from morning kickoff to afternoon pick‑up. With weekly themes that spark imagination and a daily schedule built around discovery, teamwork, and joyful movement, Sasquatch Summer Camp offers a safe, enriching, and unforgettable summer experience your child will be excited to return to each morning.
Camper Profile
Sasquatch Summer Camp is open to all St. Johns County School District students – not just those from Lakeside Academy – who are currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Space is limited to 60 campers to ensure a high‑quality experience – so early registration is encouraged!

Session 1: Nature Explorers (June 2nd-4th)
Get ready to discover the great outdoors! Campers will explore the wonders of nature through hands-on adventures, outdoor games, and creative crafts. From nature hikes to bug hunts and leaf art, every day is a new adventure waiting to be uncovered.
Session 2: Backyard Olympics (June 8th-11th)
Let the games begin! Campers will represent “countries,” design flags, compete in fun events, and celebrate teamwork, perseverance, and good sportsmanship.
Session 3: Space Adventure (June 15th-18th)
Blast off into a cosmic adventure! Explore the wonders of outer space and the excitement of science fiction through themed games, creative crafts, and imaginative group challenges. From astronaut training courses to galaxy art projects, each day encourages teamwork, creativity, and big imaginations.
Session 4: Magical Mayhem (June 22nd-25th)
Welcome to our magical-themed camp! Campers will be sorted into houses where they’ll work together to compete in fun crafts, games and challenges. Each day will be filled with magical activities as campers earn house points and work towards winning the House Cup. Get ready for a week of magic adventure and unforgettable fun!
Session 5: Stars & Stripes (June 29th-July 2nd)
Get ready for a red‑white‑and‑blue celebration of summer fun! Our Stars & Stripes session is packed with festive games, creative crafts, star‑themed challenges, and patriotic‑inspired activities that sparkle with excitement. It’s a high‑energy week filled with sunshine, teamwork, and all‑American summer joy!
Session 6: Artistic Inspiration (July 6th-9th)
Camp Artistic Inspiration invites young creators to dive into a colorful world of imagination! Campers will explore different art styles, learn about famous artists, and craft their own masterpieces every day. Fun art‑themed games and hands‑on projects make this week a creative adventure from start to finish.
Session 7: I Found a Clue! (July 13th-16th)
Campers become junior detectives as they learn about the skills and gadgets used by secret agents. Campers will solve mysteries, unlock puzzles, complete scavenger hunts, and work together to crack the camp mystery of the week.
Session 8: Superhero Training Academy (July 20th-23rd)
Calling all heroes! Grab your cape and soar into a world of imagination as we explore those that we admire, fictional or real. Through team missions, cape-making, and lessons about kindness and courage, every camper will discover their superpowers.
Session 9: Dino Days (July 27th-30th)
Get ready to roar into adventure during Dino Days summer camp! Campers will become junior paleontologists, hunt for dinosaur eggs, explore fossils, create their own dinosaurs, and stomp through prehistoric fun.
Daily Schedule Components
8:00-8:30 am (30 min) | Welcome | Doors open to upbeat music, icebreakers, and friendship-building activities to kick off the day. |
8:30 am | Official Start | Doors close and adventure begins! |
8:30-8:45 am (15 min) | Morning Kickoff | Welcome, overview of the day’s theme, and team-building moment to spark curiosity. |
8:45-9:30 am (45 min) | Group Adventures | Action-packed themed fun with scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, creative competitions, and surprise events. |
9:30-10:00 am (30 min) | Playground Power Time | Unstructured outdoor play that lets kids run, climb, imagine and connect. |
10:00-10:15 am (15 min) | Snack Break | A quick cool-down, hydrate, and recharge. |
10:15-11:45 am (90 min) | Discovery Stations | Campers rotate through 8 themed hands‑on centers. Each center sparks curiosity through a different type of play – STEM experiments, creative arts and crafts, puzzles, building challenges, sensory exploration, and more. |
11:45 am-12:15 pm (30 min) | Lunch Break | A relaxed time to eat, unwind, and laugh with friends. |
12:15-1:00 pm (45 min) | Group Adventures | More themed games and team challenges – talent shows, races, creative competitions, and daily surprises. |
1:00-2:30 pm (90 min) | Discovery Stations | Campers choose what sparks their interest as they explore, experiment, and shape their own adventure. |
2:30-2:45 pm (15 min) | Snack Break | A second energy boost for the busy afternoon. |
2:45-3:15 pm (30 min) | Open Gym Fun | An open‑play indoor session filled with balls, mats, games, and space for kids to move freely and have a blast. |
3:15-3:30 pm (15 min) | Campfire Moments | A cozy end-of-day tradition where campers celebrate wins, share highlights, and preview tomorrow’s excitement. |
3:30-4:00 pm (30 min) | Pick-Up Opens | A warm goodbye with friendship time to wrap up the day. |
4:00 pm | Doors Close | Another amazing day in the books! |
Tuition & Fees
- Registration Fee: $30 per student (one-time for the summer)
- Tuition: $250 per week per student
- Deposit: $100 per week to reserve a spot (applied toward tuition)
